Do we carve pumpkins or do we not....that is the question?

The week of Halloween flew by with a blink of an eye. The kids had a few Halloween parties at school, church, and daycare which added to our daily routine, but was a tons of fun. BUT the poor pumpkins got neglected. These great pumpkins came from Grandpa Marshall's garden...Thanks Grandpa! I wasn't sure if they would get carved or not.

Well, Halloween night it finally happened and these are the results.

Jacoy thought it was gross to pull out the guts.

Bridger started with a spoon to pull out each seed one by one. Then we told him he needed to use his hands because it would take to long, and that did not go over well at all to say the least. That is why he looks so sad (and I have the worst camera when it comes to red eye). He did not want to touch it nor would he touch it. He told us we could do it if we wanted the seeds out.

And finally two happy kids and two glowing pumpkins. Jacoy drew her face on herself and I had the pleasure of trying to follow her lines. She even drew eye brows and eye lashes after it was carved as well as pupils.

Even though they don't look very scary Bridger is terrified that one might eat his hand. So, he is nervouse when he walks by them:) What a kid.
