Our ward held a pinewood derby for those over the age of 18. It was for the whole family to come and enjoy. Only three days before Matt decided that we could make a family car. So, that is what we did. Each one of the marbles on top is one of us.

Some of the competition. The blue and yellow one with the lightning bolt was the car that took first place. We took second. Matt was a little disappointed and so were we especially when we found out that this car has been around for the past ten years. It has raced in other races and has been perfected over the years. They made a rule this year that next year they will not allow other cars that have ever been raced. They have to be new for that race. I say that we were the real winners since we just made ours. 
I think Matt may have been chewing gum. Again blame the picture taker even though it was me:) We all had fun and that is what counts the most.
