Cornbelly's

We went to Cornbelly's in Oct, but I never had a chance to post the pictures. So, here they are....

From L-R in the front is Swasey, Aunt Jamee, Kenleigh holding Bridger, and Kami. On the back is Chandler, Jacoy, and Kody. These are some of my cousins. Of course Jacoy wanted to show off her scarecrow creations that she made with Grandma LeeAnn. Oh, yes we got to have Aunt Jamee and Jacoy ride the horseless carriage... When there is competition against her brother, you must have a very serious look... This is where they put the ducks in the water and try to pump water to get in to the other side.
When you are in competition against your sister, you need to look as silly as possible since it might make her mad.
Grandma LeeAnn and Jacoy were the only ones that decided to ride the little animal train and they rode together. Of course we need to do the corn maze....
Working together to figure out the map....
The meltdown...
He really thinks he knows where he is going...
They were so tired when we got home that when we brought them into the house they didn't even move when we laid them down. We had a great time. Thanks everyone who wen with us.

School Pictures...

Here is the outcome of school pictures.......

They even gave us a copy of it in Sepia and Black & White.

Not the best picture that we could hope for, but not the worst either. I like it I just wished that she would have smiled a little more. I think they might have took the picture a second before the real smile or a second after the real smile. At least she didn't close her eyes, right?:) We love you Jacoy and you are still very beautiful.

Parking Lots

This is what I find all over the house. This is Bridger's parking lots. They do not stay in one place and sometimes there are many. Oh, what fun...:)

Oh, where oh where is the blood coming from....

Catchy title right???
Could it be coming from Matt's ear.....
Not unless he got a paper cut while doing his homework. Very unlikely.

Oh, wait what about Bridger.....Yes! That is right Bridger cut open his head yet again. This picture was actually taken after some blood was cleaned up since we couldn't find where it was coming from.

We were just getting the kids ready for bed and I had just put him down from tickling him, when he decided he was going to sit on the rocking chair. That is when it all went down hill. He missed the rocking chair and ended up underneath it. He did not know if he should cry and then ran to Matt on the couch. Matt was tickling him to try to get him to be happy again when I notice the large amount of blood. It actually is only the size of the tip of a pen but right on the back of the head and it was a bleeder. I worried about him all night and kept checking on him so I did not get much sleep and then it was Monday.

I don't know what I am going to do with him......

Do we carve pumpkins or do we not....that is the question?

The week of Halloween flew by with a blink of an eye. The kids had a few Halloween parties at school, church, and daycare which added to our daily routine, but was a tons of fun. BUT the poor pumpkins got neglected. These great pumpkins came from Grandpa Marshall's garden...Thanks Grandpa! I wasn't sure if they would get carved or not.

Well, Halloween night it finally happened and these are the results.

Jacoy thought it was gross to pull out the guts.

Bridger started with a spoon to pull out each seed one by one. Then we told him he needed to use his hands because it would take to long, and that did not go over well at all to say the least. That is why he looks so sad (and I have the worst camera when it comes to red eye). He did not want to touch it nor would he touch it. He told us we could do it if we wanted the seeds out.

And finally two happy kids and two glowing pumpkins. Jacoy drew her face on herself and I had the pleasure of trying to follow her lines. She even drew eye brows and eye lashes after it was carved as well as pupils.

Even though they don't look very scary Bridger is terrified that one might eat his hand. So, he is nervouse when he walks by them:) What a kid.

HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!

This was part of our Halloween.
Jacoy was a princess and Bridger was Peter Pan. I really thought that Jacoy would be Tinkerbelle, but she just wanted to be Jacoy the Princess. They had a primary activity on the Saturday before Halloween where they made cupcakes and went trick-or-treating at the care center. This was actually the only candy they got for all of Halloween.
They also went trick-or-treating at the Union building at the University were they got things like playdough, pencils, stickers, and other little toys.

So, on Halloween we went to the Children's Museum where they got to watch a magic show and get a few other little toys.

Look how excited they were through the whole magic show. It was a good night.

We did not have any kids come to our house this year, and we didn't go door to door either. But we had a wonderful Halloween.

Camping in a tube, or so he says.....

This tube Matt picked up for five dollars for the anticipated snow this year. He has always wanted a BIG tube to go tubing on and now he has one, but Bridger has had a different idea for it until then.
While Jacoy was at school the other day he wanted to play in the backyard. So, while I was getting things done inside, he kept coming and getting "supplies" which included the umbrella, a jump rope, and a ball. When I went outside this is how I found him. He claims he is camping and he need some shade and of course you need a jump rope and ball to go camping too. His supplies are under the umbrella. Oh, did I mention he was singing....he was just having a wonderful time.

Kindergarten Picture Day!

Today was Jacoy's Kindergarten picture day. Well, last night she did not want to go to sleep. Matt kept telling her that she needed to get her beauty sleep and she would say "no I don't need it". Well, after her pictures I asked her if she smile and she said "ya I think I did with my mouth closed". What a stink I guess we will see what she actually did when we get them back. Isn't she cute?! Jacoy we love you and are proud of you.Bridger wanted to get in on the action and told me this is how he would have smiled. (Notice the blue bandaide under the hat)

Buddy we love you too even when you are so silly.

Oh, Bridger what will we do with you???

The following post is not intended for those who may have a weak stomache. There are some graphic pictures. And no I do not beat my kid:)

For those who know Bridger, you know that we have had quite the head wounds. Two Halloweens ago Brigder had his first big head wound when he fell at story time at the public library where he received 11 stitches and it was three layers deep. (thanks Tiff for driving us to the hospital and thanks again Jeni for taking Jacoy). The following picture is what he looked like after we got home. He has a great hair-do thanks to the extra blood head give off.
Then we have had many wounds like this "goose-egg". The first one I actually passed out from seeing. Now we have had many more. The following picture is of the second time he split his head open. This was this last spring while he was at the schools daycare while I was in class. I had only been in class about 15-20 minutes when a lady came in and asked the teacher if she could talk to me. My stomache sank because I knew something had happened with one of my kids and this is what I found. They say that he fell on the playground, but nobody seemed to see it happen. So, we visited Primary Children's hospital yet again and had another 11 stitches and three layers deep.
So, the other night I was on my way home from class and when I got home this is what I found. Oh, yes another head wound. He was spinning around and hit his head on the cabinet when he got dizzy. This one however had only made it through the first layer of skin and so I opted out for some strong adhesive tape to squeeze it back together. It actually looks a lot better, but he had to have a bandaide on his head for yet another Halloween.
I think that I should wrap his head in bubble wrap....if only he would let me. This is why I have started making him wear hats, because when he falls the brim folds under and protects his head.

Please don't think I am a bad mom I just have a top heavy kid who trips on flat ground. He might get it from me since I had so many spills...hmmmm.

The State Fair

After Kindergarten on Jacoy's birthday we went to the State Fair. We were able to go with Grandma LeeAnn and Aunt Jamee. We went and seen Jamee's lamb and then all of the other sites. I would post pictures of Jamee's lamb, but I didn't get them on my camera and so I will post one when I get one from my mom...hint hint. But we were able to go and see the tiger show and I do have some pictures from that courtesy of Jamee taking them on my camera. Thanks Jamee they look great.

Look how tall they are. They moved so gracefully. We had tons of fun. Thanks Mom and Jamee for inviting us to go with you and for staying at our house.
